The Embassy of Denmark in Singapore handles applications for Schengen visa to Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland.
If you wish to travel to one of these countries you should inquire whether you will need a visa to enter and stay in the relevant country. In case you need a visa, please make sure to submit an application in due time.
A Schengen visa is issued for the purpose of a short stay (up to 90 days withing a six month period) in a Schengen country.
A short stay Schengen visa is valid for the entire Schengen area, namely Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland).
A visa does not allow you to take up employment in Schengen.
As a general rule an application for a Schengen visa should be submitted at the embassy of the country in which you will have your main stay.
